Let's get this straight, we have an inheritance from our Father in Heaven. We are co-inheritors with Jesus in all things. We have to see things that way. The prodigal son saw it that way. That's why he was confident enough to ask for the inheritance before its time. We should never be striving or working for something that is ours. This is the wrong mindset. Yes, we have this inheritance; no, it has not all manifested. Yes, both sons of the father in the story of the prodigal son had inheritances. See, they knew this the whole time growing up, even before laying hold of it. Too many in the church are trying to lay hold of something that is theirs. All the promises of God are yes and amen. Not maybe, but in the proper time, you will reap it. The Bible says that we are being raised up by tutors and governors until the proper time to become Lord of all. Of what? The inheritance! Galatians 4:1-2.

Everything He promised you is yours, but there's a reason why it has not manifested yet. Just ask the prodigal son who was not ready for what was his. I'm setting a foundation here because I believe everything we do in the kingdom, we're always doing for a reward, but I believe we have it backwards. I believe we should be rewarding Him. He gave us His son, what will He not give us! See, if you don't have this mindset, you will still be doing things for a return! God wants you to do things for Him and for one thing and one thing only. Souls! This is what God desires. You desire this, you desire that, but God desires souls. He said He would fill the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He leads us unto green pastures, in want of nothing (Psalm 23). We need this revelation so we can break this work and reward mentality and switch it for a thankfulness and security of what we have and who we have, so we can tell everybody about Him so He can have them! God has desires, too, and He wants us to fill the desires of His heart. Souls! God wants to clean us out of every selfish motive of looking at Him for wages, when it is what we have been commanded to do. We see this in Luke 17:7-10. We have an eternal debt with Jesus now. He gave us His life. He not only died for our sins, but He forgave us, cleansed us, made us righteous, presented us perfect before God, called us, set us apart, sanctified us, and glorified us. Adopted us. Made us sons, made us daughters, called us a bride. The same glory God gave Him, He gave us. He seated us with Him at the right hand of the Father. He made us co-inheritors of all the promises of God. He gave us His divine nature, He filled us with the Holy Spirit, and He made us kings and priests. He gave us eternal life! And much, much more. See, will it ever be enough? Unless we don't believe. We have to walk around with this confidence, not just knowing who we are, but what we have. We don't just have the provision; we have the provider! We see someone like Abraham who had the promise of Issac for many years until the proper time. There was this space of time from the time God spoke that he would have a child to the time he had the child. The child was his the day God spoke it! But it manifested later. In the kingdom, something is not yours when you see it. It's yours when God speaks. See, but God is a God of wisdom. He is not going to release something that you are not ready or prepared for yet. God doesn't want you to work for what is yours. He wants you to prepare for it. Be formed for it, grown up, raised up, matured to be able to handle it, and start to have the right purpose for having it. God doesn't want to bless you to lose you. He wants to bless you to work with you to inherit His promise.

Wow, God has a promise, too! He's in the wilderness, too. Remember, it says that He is also in the wilderness, and we are leaning on Him. He is walking the road to His promised land, but His promised land is not like man's promised land. It is the inheritance of those He foreknew that shall be saved. See, we are the joy set before Him. He waits for the day to enjoy us. He is laboring to inherit us. We are now His inheritance. The souls of men are the inheritance of God! That's what God is waiting for. And now, as labors of the harvest, we get to bless Him with His inheritance! We get to give God an inheritance. First ourselves, then the souls of others. Wow, I get to reward God. You think you need to be rewarded, but actually, we get to reward Him for all that He has done and for giving His life to us. Wow, I get to give God something for all that He did for me. Wow, I get to collect God's reward! What is God's reward? Souls, souls, souls! We are Soul Collectors! We are to go out into the world and collect God's reward. Collect His inheritance. We are treasure hunters for the Lord now! He is sending us on a quest to find His lost treasure. What is that? Man! He lost man in the garden; now He says pursue, overtake, and recover all! We are called to recover all! Every soul, wow, all souls are His! Not all will believe, but our mindset is to preach the Gospel to all the world. We need to pursue, be sent out, and use the wisdom of God when and where. Not neglecting the souls that are His that need to continue to be fed and filled and grown and led. Jesus said feed my sheep to Peter! (John 21:15-17). We have the lost, and we have the lost sheep, and the raising up of the body. These are three types of souls we are called to. See, we are now stewards of the inheritance of God when it comes to the body of Christ. And we are recovering that which was lost when it comes to lost souls. Humanity was His, and now we're called to get back what was stolen in the garden. The enemy stole from God! Now go out and get back what was His! I will make you fishers of men. There's only one thing the devil and God are after, and that is souls! The devil wants to destroy what is valuable to God. The devil can't destroy God, but he can destroy what is valuable to God. The enemy wants to take what is His. Now he has made himself the enemy of our soul so that he can undermine our God. It's our responsibility now to take territory. We have been put at the front lines of the war for God's inheritance. We are God's treasure going out to reap more treasure. Now we must sow ourselves that we might multiply. Sowing this treasure will reap more treasure. We need to continue to sow ourselves daily as we continue to multiply the treasure of God. Humanity was His, and now we're called to get back what was stolen in the garden. The enemy stole from God! Now go out and get back what was His! I will make you fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). There's only one thing the devil and God are after, and that is souls! The devil wants to destroy what is valuable to God. The devil can't destroy God, but he can destroy what is valuable to God. The enemy wants to take what is His. Now he has made himself the enemy of our soul, so that he can undermine our God. It's our responsibility now to take territory. We have been put at the front lines of the war for God's inheritance. We are God's treasure going out to reap more treasure. Now we must sow ourselves that we might multiply. Sowing this treasure will reap more treasure. We need to continue to sow ourselves daily as we continue to multiply the treasure of God.

You need to know who you are now. You're not a hireling. You're not doing this for pay or for hire. You're doing this to reward your God. It's because of the love of God, we preach. It's because of the faithfulness of God, we preach. Not the reward! Our thankfulness needs to stay at the cross, and our reward in eternity, not in our labor. Our labor needs to be gratefulness for what He did! Not an exchange for what is already mine anyway. Stop asking for what is yours and know you have it, so you can go out and get what is His so He can have it! Who are you? Who am I? I am a soul winner! A Soul Collector! I am here to collect God's reward and give Him an inheritance!
