“Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him. John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him. He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled. He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:25-30

Jesus was hidden before man and John was seen by all men. Everyone was coming unto him, but really John was not sent to draw men unto himself, but that when all men come unto him, Jesus. He was making the way straight for the Lord. John’s purpose was not to be seen, although he was. His purpose was not to be known, although he was. His purpose was to lead all men unto the Son. To bring purification, calling all men to repent that they may wash their dirty eyes made blind by sin and see the Messiah Jesus before them! The Pharisees could never see Jesus because they never repented. They said they could see, so they remained blind. Seeing they could not perceive, hearing they could not understand. They literally heard Jesus’ words but they could not perceive that it was the oracles spoken before them, the oracle Himself before them, the word made flesh. The first living epistle read by men, The Messiah, The Savior, standing in front of them. Though many were repenting, over time when Jesus was revealed, they could see Him. Repentance opened their eyes to see Jesus as He was revealed. And seeing many believed. John made the way straight for the Lord unto those who were willing to turn from their wicked ways. Their reward for their decrease was to increase in sight, having their blind eyes open to behold the Savior.

See, John’s disciples were essentially asking him, why are many going to Jesus, and not you John? I thought it was about you! “Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.” In other words, I didn’t come to make a show of myself, I’m just the messenger, He is the Lord! I came to make the way straight for Him. To prepare the way for Him! Now the purpose of John’s coming was fulfilled. And now God was transitioning the crowd away from Him, taking the eyes off of John, because now the purpose of why John even came was now being fulfilled and now men were called to look to Him and go to Him, Jesus.

“He must increase but I must decrease.” I must get out of the way now. It’s not about me, it’s about Him. Everything I’m doing is to draw men unto Him. The Father was using John to draw all men unto the Son. See, we need to see ourselves like John. See in religion we want the eyes to be on us, but everything we do is to get their eyes on Him. Now it’s I must decrease. I must get out of the way that the world can see Him in me and not see me! Just like the events of John even worked together to decrease John to get him out of the way, that he would not be a stumbling block to Jesus’ ministry. Yet not that he himself was a stumbling block but that man would not let their focus on John become a stumbling block to them focusing on Jesus. John was the end of the old; he was the transition from the old to the new. Jesus was the start of the new. He shed His blood to seal the new. When John got out of the way, the old covenant died. And the new, Jesus came to the forefront. If it was just through repentance, we would never have forgiveness of sin. John brought the way of repentance, and Jesus brought the way of forgiveness. Jesus preached both but by the shedding of His blood He made it possible for all to be forgiven of sin. See, John had to die in a spiritual way by getting out of the way and ended up dying physically too, that Jesus may live and be seen and be the focal point. That all may hear Him and be saved. “I must decrease, that He may Increase.” That was his ultimate answer to them when they said “to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.” And here’s the Key today for us if we want Jesus to increase in us and all men to come unto Him in our life. “Decrease!”

We must decrease that He may increase in our lives. John had to decrease so that everyone can see Jesus the man. Now we decrease so that they can see Christ in me the hope of Glory. He was Emmanuel “God with us”, but now He is Emmanuel God in us! We want Him to increase in us! He is The Oil, The Fire, The Glory, The Anointing, The Blessing, The Presence, The Wine, The Living Waters. So, if we want more of that, which is more of Him, there’s only one step! “Decrease!” This is The Key to increase in The Kingdom! The religious system will give you all these steps, but there is only one step! Die! Jesus died that we may live. Now we must die that He may live in us. He does live in us in our inner man for those who are born again. Yet we want Him to manifest in our mortal bodies and that the same Glory in us may be the same Glory on us. See, Jesus had the Holy Ghost in Him since birth. Yet the Holy Ghost came on Him when John baptized Him! There’s a difference! We want the manifestation of Him at all times. We want to live in His manifest Glory and Power all the time! We have it, but we want to manifest it! The Kingdom of God is in us, but we want the Kingdom of God upon us. The finger of God to cast out demons, for then you know the Kingdom of God has come upon you!

Whatever is done in secret, your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you openly. When we die in secret, buried in the tomb where no one can see, later people see you openly walking in resurrection power! Miracles, signs, wonders. Then they see your good works from Heaven and they glorify your Father who is in heaven. You don’t have to exalt yourself openly. Die and God will exalt you and reward you openly! Because increase always follows decrease, every time. I must decrease, my flesh, my will, my desires, my mindsets, and my dreams. So that His Flesh, His will for my life, His desire for me, His Mind, His destiny for me may be made manifest! This is The Key to your growth. This is what will shoot you higher in the heavenlies. I have to let my desire for my own glory die so that His glory may be seen in me and on me. I have to go lower to go higher. He exalts, meaning He brings higher, promotes, and exalts those who humble themselves and He gives grace to the humble. There’s so much exaltation and increasing in His Glory in going lower and decreasing yourself. Dying is an act of humility because I choose less of me, and make it more about Him instantly in doing so because He trades me Flesh for flesh and gives me more of Him! We’re crying out, “I want more of you, but He is crying out, I want more of you my son, my daughter. Give and it shall be given. Don’t ask for it, just give it and I’ll give it!”

Everybody loves to hear about promotion, but no one wants to be demoted. Everyone loves to hear about going higher, but no one loves to hear about going lower. We must be demoted before we can be promoted. If anyone says they don’t care about promotion, they are liars. In religion, everybody wants promotion as in leadership, influence, popularity, and platforms but even just desiring those things is where you need to demote yourself. The flesh must be demoted before your spirit can be promoted. Our flesh must decrease so that Christ in us can increase. I want to be promoted in more of His Glory, Fire, Revelation, Understanding, Wisdom, Knowledge, Holiness, and Righteousness, promoted in the things of God, not the things of man. Religion wants to be promoted in the things of man, but we want more of Him. We want to add increase to the seed of the Kingdom of God that has been planted inside of us. We have everything we need in our spirit, but we want it to manifest in our mortal bodies and in our lives that He may quicken our mortal bodies to do and to will for His good pleasure. We need to understand that although He has given us resurrection power in us, we must open the well to release it from within the inside of us like rivers of living water out of our belly. We have the same Spirit that was in Christ in us. We are not dying to gain what we already have. We are dying to manifest what we have. All those who are born again have the same power. Everyone has different levels of that power made manifest in their life because of the level of sacrifice and death that they have endured. Before Jesus could take part in the resurrection of life, He had to die. The first seed among many brethren had to die before we could live. And He had to die before He could live again. See, we were living of this world, now we are dying to this world that we may live in the Kingdom and not be of this world. The Kingdom is backward from the world, but really the world is backward from the Kingdom because the Kingdom was first. The devil perverts God’s ways. God’s ways are higher, our ways are lower. We must trade our low ways for His high ways. Trade our life for His life. This is the great exchange. The less of you, the more of Him. Don’t cry out for more of Him if you’re not willing to give up more of you. This message should make you change your mindset and start to get excited about the cross, excited about the Fire! Because you know through it, there is your increase, there is transformation and power! I love decrease not because it’s false humility and I’m acting like it doesn’t hurt. I love it because when I do, the Power of Christ rests upon me more abundantly.

The more you decrease, the more He will increase in your life. This is a heavenly principle, a heavenly mindset, because most hate hearing about dying and going through the Fire, but when they truly understand they must die to live, they must go low to go high, they must decrease to increase, they will do it. Everybody wants to increase, but no one wants to die. The more you die, the more you live. Everybody wants more anointing, but only a few are willing to be crushed. Everyone is always focusing on how hard the crushing, the dying, the bloody messy cross, the fiery furnace is but everyone forgets the resurrection, the Glory it brings, the transformation, the Gold it reveals. Everything we want in the Kingdom comes through decrease, comes through these things that you hate to hear about. We should actually get excited about these things because with this Kingdom perspective, we can start to see the things we hate are actually the things that promote us, that increase us in the Kingdom! The Cross will promote you, death will promote you, fire will promote you, correction, rebuke will promote you if you heed to it. Man cannot promote you but these things will! Those are where the heavenly rewards really start to manifest. He chastises those He loves, why? Because He loves increasing and promoting those He loves. He delights in the prosperity of His servants. The demotion of your flesh is the promotion of your Spirit! You see, religion will preach to you how to get more money, better jobs, more fame, more this, and more that, but it’s always about carnal increase. I want to increase in heavenly riches where moth and rust cannot corrupt. You see, we always look at others and say how do they walk like that? how do they have that much power and fruit, anointing, and presence? Why are they so blessed? Is God a respecter of persons? No! We all can go from Glory to Glory and Faith to Faith. Yet it’s our choice to go from death to death and decrease to decrease so that we may have more increase and life more abundantly. See, we have life but we want life more abundantly!

We see in the times of old, to increase their storehouses, they had to decrease it first, to increase their increase more abundantly, they had to give the first fruits of their increase. And they had to decrease it, they had to take a 10th of their increase and decrease by giving it to God to keep food in His house and as it was said in Proverbs.

“Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine,” Proverbs 3:9-10, and also in Malachi 3:10, “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”

Increase was the follow-up! More came! First fruits were the first of their spoils given to God but by revelation, we can see first fruits were really the beginning of new fruits! They purged their storehouse to increase their storehouse. It’s first fruits because when you give it, you bear new fruit. It’s the first fruits of many more fruit! A more abundant storehouse! They had to purge their storehouse to increase it! Even in the parable of the talents, they had to decrease their talents to increase in more. The one servant put his in the ground but not to decrease it but to save it. And we see when it comes decreasing our flesh for more of His. Some think they are decreasing but they are just pretending they are. Putting themselves their seed in the ground but not to produce more but to resurrect it and pull it out for a later date. Just like our flesh, we put it in the ground to die but instead of waiting for resurrection power, we resurrect our old man instead of trading it for the new man. The other servants decreased their talents by literally giving it away and trading their talents, sowing it, decreasing to receive more, double!

Wherever you are desiring to increase, you must decrease first! It is more blessed to give than receive, why? Because when you give, you receive that much more. You increase. Give and it shall be given. Press down, shaken together, running over. We know that when we sow, we reap. What is sowing? Decreasing some of my spoils and giving to someone else. See, people are very reluctant sowers because they don’t realize the principles of the Kingdom. Sow and you shall reap. Decrease what you have and you will increase and have more. The religious system will lie to you and say you don’t give to get, but the Bible clearly outlines it is more blessed to give than to receive! And in the old, they were always giving to be given more. (Read the scriptures from Proverbs and Malachi from above again) We think the blessing is in receiving, but the blessing is in the giving! This is a Kingdom Principle and He wants to have you blessed not stressed but you need to be a giver, not a receiver only. It’s more blessed to give. We know this principle of decrease is not only concerning money but through this, we can outline more how this principle works in every area of our life. What did He say to Peter? Whoever forsakes all houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, for His sake, shall what? Receive 100-fold houses, brethren, sisters, mothers, children, and lands (See Mark 10:29-30). Decrease in those things and you will increase in those things from Him. It’s the heart He is looking at. Leaving your old life for your new life. Leaving those things behind and pressing forth to the joy that is set before you. Old things pass away and behold new things! No longer connected to the old things but connected to the new things, partakers of divine inheritance! Decreasing in the old and continually increasing in the new. You want to know who you are? Decrease in who you think you are or what the world has made you think you are and you will know who you are in Christ! I cannot see myself by who I was. I have to see myself as He is. Because as He is, so am I!

Our flesh is a currency in the Kingdom for more of Him. We want more of His Flesh! So, we must give our flesh. Jesus said, “Eat My Flesh and drink My Blood.” I believe His Flesh is the Word because He was the Word made Flesh! Now if we want to have the word made flesh in us and on us, we must be willing to die to our flesh. Flesh for flesh and bone for bone. A heart of stone for a heart of flesh. Everyone is crying out the Ezekiel prophecy, “Let these dry bones live!” And they want the flesh from heaven which is Jesus, the Word, to come upon them but they haven’t even become a pile of bones yet! You need to let the flesh be separated! By the Word of God, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart,” Hebrews 4:12. We need to let that sword do its work, that all that’s left is a pile of bones ready for new Flesh to come upon it! His Flesh, the word made Flesh in you! Then you walk naturally in the Word of God, instead of trying to obey something that is not made flesh in you yet!

John said, “Bring forth fruits meet for repentance.” So, we see through what John said when we truly repent, we bring forth fruit. Repentance requires you to go lower. Repentance is a form of decrease. Fruit is increase. Wherever we decrease, we increase. Whenever we repent, we bear fruit. He said He is the vine and we are the branches. Every branch that does not bear fruit will be cut off. And every branch that bears fruit will be purged! God does not prune or purge branches that bear no fruit. He tosses those away. He prunes branches that are already bearing fruit, that are already bringing increase, that they may bring more increase. More abundant increase. He decreases you to bring you more increase. The next level of Glory comes through the next level of death. It has to get gory before you get Glory. We are going from faith to faith and Glory to Glory. Not our glory but His manifest Glory in earthen vessels. We are always going higher by always going lower. There is no arrival, there is always more, but in order for us to have more, we must have less of us. More of Him, less of me. The more I give Him of myself, the more He gives of Himself. The Bible says, buy Gold tried in the Fire. What do you need to put in the Fire? Your flesh. Buy gold, buy oil, not with money but with your flesh! Your flesh is the currency that He is requiring you to put on the altar to trade for more Fire and more Glory. Glory to Glory. Gold is revealed when we put the clumps of dirt, the clumps of flesh inside the Fire that when it’s burnt off the gold inside of it may be revealed! You may have some Glory but if you stop dying, you won’t have more. Don’t be satisfied! Buy more by putting your flesh on the altar! Just like in the old, they had to put a lamb as a sacrifice on the altar to be consumed by Fire, so that the Glory would fill the temple. And now that temple is you. You are the temple of the Holy Ghost, and now these sacrifices are being done in you that the Fire may consume your flesh. We are living sacrifices, and when the sacrifice is consumed, the Glory fills us in the Temple. The altar is our heart, and we offer up the things in our heart to be consumed and purified so that He may be more glorified in us! The more Glory you have in you, the more glory you can give Him. No flesh can glory in Him, so you must increase in more of His Glory to glorify Him! We glorify Him with His own Glory! That’s how He writes the story, but we have to get our pen off the paper so that He can use His Glory to write The Story!

In the times of old, they used lambs. Jesus was the lamb slain for us that the Glory the Father gave Him may also be in us, and now we are going from Glory to Glory and now we are lambs led to the slaughter that as the Fire consumes us on the altar and another level of Glory is released! Fire brings Glory, but the sacrifice brings Fire. A sacrifice must be on the altar, doing what God wants you to do is not the sacrifice. Giving up what you want to do that is getting in the way of God’s will is the sacrifice! When you are born again, you want to do what God wants! It’s what your flesh wants that needs to die. Your will must die that His will may live. If we want His will, we must put our own will on the altar. There are two wills living in us but one will has to do! Whatever we want God to give us, we must give Him first. Give and it shall be given. You want more of His Glory, give Him your glory! You want more fire, give Him the things you are burning for. God is interested in the things of the heart. He doesn’t need your items. He needs the items to come out of your heart. Out of the heart flows the issues of life. Jesus didn’t want the rich young ruler’s riches but rather revealed His heart by telling him to sell all that he had because it revealed that he loved riches more! God does not look at your flesh, He looks at your heart, but He will use your flesh to show you your heart!

Those who increase themselves will decrease in the Kingdom and become worse and worse. God resists the proud. Those who exalt themselves will be abased. The more you exalt yourself, the lower you will go in a bad way! Pride comes before a fall. Let’s hope when He cuts us down, we choose humility for ourselves and not try to exalt ourselves again or else we will be brought even lower. I don’t want to be BROUGHT low, I want to GO low so that I may go high. I don’t want to be brought low so I can see how high I brought myself. I want to go low so I can see how low I formally was because of how high He’s brought me now. The last shall be the first, the first shall be the last. Whoever wants to be first must be a slave of all. Whoever wants to be greatest among shall be your servant. You be the greatest of all. Get in the lowest place of man and start washing some feet! Wash their souls! Do you love me? Feed my sheep! What you do unto the least of these, you do unto me. Serve me by serving them! Lay down your life! Be a living sacrifice! He died so that we can live, now you die so that they can live by the power of Christ and the anointing that breaks their yoke through you!

The Father wanted more sons, so He sowed His own son. Jesus wanted more brothers so He sowed Himself. The first seed among many brothers! Abraham didn’t have to give up his Isaac at the end of the day. The Father actually gave His Isaac, His Son, Jesus to be a sacrifice. He died so that the other Isaac may live. There was a ram in the thicket! It was Jesus already and it’s Jesus now! He said it is finished! And we are the fruit, and out of that fruit, we are the seeds that come out of that fruit to go back into the ground and multiply that which was already born and bring even more fruit. Abundant fruit! We were His increase, and now we decrease to increase ourselves to bring Him more abundant increase! There’s a harvest coming out of your brother, out of your sister but you must become the seed first. The seed must die so that it may live. Now you must die, that you may live. Though really that He may live! For in Him, we live breathe and have our being. The more the old dies, the more the new lives. I don’t want the old creation me; I want the new creation me to live. The old me, for the new me in Christ. You are the seed, and He is the life formed inside of the seed that hatches and comes out when the seed shell dies and is separated, and the life form, Christ in you, starts to grow in the ground and bear fruit! Sow your seeds! But sow your biggest seed yet! Yourself! All of you and you will have all of Him. Sow yourself and you will reap Him. The Fruit will be abundant and the Fruit will remain. Be rooted and grounded in Christ, but the beginning is you, your seed of death! The End is the Beginning! The end of you is the beginning of Him! Resurrection power is the power of Christ on your life. Death is The Key! Decrease is The Key! Take The Key and turn it! Open new doors to increase and have abundant life in your life! You have The Key. It’s decrease and He has given it to you! To bind and loose! This key binds the devil in your life and looses the heavenly blessings on your life! The Keys are at the cross! Get on that cross and take your keys, and watch Him open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that you can’t contain, power that you can’t withhold! As it is in heaven, so it will be on earth in you, earthen vessels now made heavenly vessels. Through one step: Death! Decrease! The Cross! This is where you crossover to life and life more abundant! The cross is the transitional road from death to life. From decrease to increase. From you to less of you, to Christ to more of Christ!
