ONENESS THEOLOGY THAT DIVIDES

This word is coming against everyone who comes against God being a true and living God, and against those who do not believe that the three of us are ONE (or Father, or Son and or Holy Spirit). Not against water baptism, at the same time it comes against ignoring the baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire. This word goes against any wrong focus. It goes against any other doctrine that rises above the true, pure, and undefiled Gospel of Christ. It goes against whoever touches me who is God, His Holy Spirit and His Word. Read this entire epistle as we deepen our understanding to know Him and reason together.

Many years ago, I was radically baptized in the Holy Spirit, not by man but by Jesus Himself. Well, it was the Holy Spirit. There was no water involved, just a desperate heart crying out. At that moment, the evidence of tongues overwhelmed and took over me and I can pray in them to this day. After that day, I began to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit and with the Word. It is sad to say but once you are born again, you are doing all that a born-again person should be doing: You are casting out demons, healing the sick, and preaching the Gospel, but there is always somebody trying to stop you. Then you begin to realize, wow, this is the Body of Christ. This is awesome. You start getting revelation of Jesus and the kingdom of God. But then suddenly, here comes some doctrine, some man, some theology, someone that loves to categorize, label, or classify others because of what they see and understand from God. Doctrines of division appear once again.

Do you know that almost every denomination and religious sect came out of a division of belief? Today, God wants to expound on this oneness separation and divisive spirit. I am not a trinitarian or a oneness theologian. I am not a Baptist or a Continuationist or a Cessationist. I am not reformed, nor do I need to be reformed by man’s doctrine because He is forming me, not into man’s theology, but into Christ. Nor am I a Methodist or Catholic or a Mormon or a Presbyterian or a Jehovah Witness or a Lutheran or an Episcopalian. I certainly do not practice paganism or Judaism. I am a son of God, blood BOUGHT, full of the Holy Spirit. I do know why many are baptized into doctrines of man, of the devil, and of religion; I do know what brings such a mighty baptism into deception:  pride or indoctrination. Religion is also indoctrinating people as well as the world. We are not called to scatter but to gather! We are not called to be conformed to this world but to be transformed by the renewing of the mind, not by indoctrinations or man’s theology but by the revelation of Jesus Christ and the Spirit of Truth that is inside of us through the Holy Spirit.

The Bible says we are to be one. So, if we, being many, are one, why all the schisms and divisions? Well, they come from heresy and man-made theology that resist the Holy Spirit and resist the Truth. Remember how Stephen rebuked religious leaders who thought they knew God and the Word?

“Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.” Acts 7:51

Stephen was talking about resisting God as they resist the Holy Spirit even before Jesus came and even after He rose and ascended and sat on the right hand of the Father. Jesus rebuked them in bodily form as well for resisting Him – resisting Truth – the Word made flesh. Even before Jesus, the Spirit came upon man but now, He is in man – those who are born again! They could not see Jesus, not even through the scriptures that they knew and taught.

“Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” John 5:39

So, the Bible tells us we are to be one.

“For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. And if they were all one member, where were the body? But now are they many members, yet but one body.” 1 Corinthians 12:12-20

Let us break out the Word and the Spirit of Truth. I wonder what title people will give me for believing the Word? They title Jesus as a cult leader, a devil, a blasphemer, a false teacher, a false prophet, not because He was any of those but because of their theology, denying the power that was standing right in front of them. And there is nothing new under the sun when it comes to the Son of God!

Whatever they say about oneness theology does not line up with the Word. Their words make all carnal sense in the world but in the Spirit, they do not. No matter what, Old Testament or New Testament, a little leaven leavens the whole lump. They always say, “a little leaven here, a little leaven there,” but according to the scriptures, from Jesus all the way to Paul, His word must be pure and clean without any private interpretation. We, who are in the Spirit, bear witness to the Word, and our spirit receives it. It's an amazing relationship.

But what I have seen is this: the fruits of those who try to push their doctrine on young and old being manifested. They creep into the house of God. I love my calling and my life. Do you know why? Because I am not pushing any agenda or doctrine; I am just breaking bread with the saints. Whether you eat or not does not matter to me because it is not my doctrine, but it is of Christ. I am not part of any denomination or cult or sect. Did you know that you can be a member of a cult by indoctrination? A cult may not be about the worship of a man, but it may be about the worship of a doctrine of that man. Many followers of wrong doctrines are dividing sheep. All of them have compromised something in the Word to idealize that one thing that seems to make them different. When someone is forcing, fighting, and pushing their doctrine instead of the revelation of Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the freedom, they are scattering and not gathering. When someone’s main agenda becomes a doctrine and not the freedom in Christ, they may be adding members to their cult, but they will never be adding members to the Church of Christ. If all the push is on water baptisms and names rather than the cross, the power, and the Holy Spirit, then that is a big sign that pride is their god.

"But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes." 2 Timothy 2:23

Let’s see what all the fuss is. One thing is that I won't use the word trinity or oneness. I will just keep breaking the Word. Let's see what the Word says.

In the beginning: “And God said, Let us (plural) make man in our (plural) image, after our (plural) likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26

Who is “us”? And who is “ours”? The only way to find this out is by the Spirit of God and the gifts of God, through revelation and through the word of God. But we know this…“This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.” 1 John 5:6-8

The Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Word! Since there is no man in human form in heaven, Jesus is the blood witness on the Earth. The Bible says, “The Word became flesh and dwelt among us!” Wow, let’s follow this, then we will have understanding of it!

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.” John 1:1-3

Wow, so the Word was with God and the Word was God? Interesting how can something be with and be that something? That will take a lot of revelation to figure out. Man cannot figure it out. It will take the Seven Spirits of God and the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. So, without the Holy Spirit, man’s wisdom results in zero. Paul confronted man’s thinking all the time, and we are facing the same thing today with people that don’t know. How can you explain this to those who don’t have or believe the Holy Spirit?

Now later in this chapter, we see John baptizing in the Jordan. I am speaking of this because John says something that oneness theology says we cannot be: to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. But it's said that Jesus is the one who will baptize us in the Holy Spirit and fire according to John. Oneness believes that we cannot baptize in the Father, in the Son, and of the Holy Spirit but in the name of Jesus only. But it is not us that are baptizing people in the Holy Spirit but Jesus.

If all three of them are one, why make a big deal out of it, bringing division among us. Even today, the religious spirit is straining at gnats while swallowing a camel, not considering the heart that produces the fruits of the Spirit, focusing on baptisms and names.  Oneness is always thinking of John’s baptism unto repentance in water. John just baptized them. No one really knows what he was saying when he was doing it and if he was just preaching as he was doing it. How can they come up with their own theology?

“Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” Hebrews 6:1-2

“I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire.” Matthew 3:11

Wow! You know what? Jesus never baptized them or anyone in water as He walked the Earth. But today He is here as the Holy Spirit baptizing people in Him all over as He did with me as I spoke of in the introduction to this epistle. So right here is a mighty revelation of scripture being fulfilled. Even all through the book of Acts, God is baptizing people in Him from the day of Pentecost up until now, just as it happened to me. When He came, I did not see Him, He was like the wind. But when it happened, I knew I was different, filled with Holy Spirit and fire. I was dunked in water in the name of Jesus by man, but nothing happened. Water baptism is more as a public, symbolic act that we do (and I have done), but it could be, even before Jesus, that all of these symbolic acts could be a shadow of what the Holy Spirit would do after John? Because everything else has been first natural and then the spiritual backs them up (1 Corinthians 15:46), for example, eating manna in the wilderness, now we eat the Word.

Man will fight Truth all the way. But oh man, when God Himself did it for me, there was no water! When I did get baptized (like John did to many) nothing happened; but when Jesus came and baptized me in the Holy Spirit and fire, my life was never the same. It was the pinnacle of my walk in Him, as I was already being born again 3 weeks prior. That was another encounter. I was freed, and I was able to see. Then wow, God fulfilled the words of John the Baptist even with me.

Did John lie saying that another one would come? No. But according to the theology of some, he must be a liar. Oh wait…that’s the very Word of God promising the coming of the greater baptizer: Jesus Christ! But Jesus did not baptize anybody (in water), but the Holy Spirit did Baptize 120 and millions to this day, so that makes them two becoming one! So now what? Do we continue to idolize water baptism or seek for the One who comes after it with the Holy Spirit and fire?

After Jesus was baptized, God spoke: “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:16-17

A loud voice came from heaven which was God – the Father –talking to Jesus as a son.  Then the Holy Spirit landed on Him as a dove would land on your shoulder. I see three right there, but I know they are all one. Wow, God gave this as I was writing. They are the three, but they are one. That loud voice could have said, “This is Me, listen to Me,” but He was saying, “This is My Son.” This was another display of the three in one right there.

Even when the disciples asked Jesus to show the father, we see this: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. Philip saith unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father? Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.” John 14:6-20

Once again, through this passage in Luke 9:34-36, we see the Spirit through the voice of the Father revealing the Son. The three in one was revealed in one man, Christ Jesus, after Peter had a vision of two man (Elijah and Moses) appearing in glory. “While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud. And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him. And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.”

Here is another example. We know that God is Spirit, but do spirits sit on thrones? Again, we can only understand it by the revelation of the Holy Spirit.

“He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.” Mark 16:16-2

Tell me, how do you sit on the right hand of yourself? In the beginning, the Word was with God and the Word was God. This is so good. This is where we come to remember Christ and the Church from the beginning. In Mark 10, when the pharisees came to Jesus questioning about the commandment of Moses about the bill of divorcement, Jesus said, “For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.” He also said, “The two shall become one.” Wow, now, we are seated with Christ. It says the Seven Spirits of God sit before the throne of God and we know seven is one.

“John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne.” Revelation 1:4

“And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.” Revelation 4:5

So, people want to try to title sons and daughters. You can’t do it!

“Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 1:20

This revelation is so oily. Why focus on baptizing in water with a certain name or get stuck on religious Babylonian garments when we are to be clothed in Christ and be one with Him? O, God weeps for you all who are stuck in the Babylonian religious system!

“And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.” Ephesians 2:6-22

Spirits do not have a throne, or do they? See, these mysteries can only be unveiled by the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, not by the carnal man and theology of doctrines of man. Now, look at this!  This is where we – as His church - come in. Are we God? No, but Jesus brings up some crazy words as we be like little gods (John 10:34-38). See, this is what the devil is up to with theology doctrines. No, no, no! We need and we feast on revelation of Christ, and when we know Him, we know the body. When we are one, He is the Head. He cannot deny Himself.

Satan is in fact interested in the real oneness that comes from God: one bride, one baptism, one doctrine, one bread, one father, one body, and one faith. And he uses man's pride to misrepresent God's dreamed oneness and to create his own. But the remnant will prevail in this pure oneness that comes from the creator until Christ Jesus comes.

So, I am a son, not a member of a denomination, but a member of an eternal Body. The Bible says, “Who are the sons of God?” Those who are led by the Spirit of God (Romans 8:14). Jesus said, “Who is My mother, brother, sister? Those who do the will of the Father (Matthew 12:46-50). He was the first fruits of many brethren! Jesus responded to some who wanted to see the Father: Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?” (John 14:9) WOW! Can you say this when people ask you to show them Jesus: “He has been with you all of this time and you don’t know Him?” Can you say “If you have seen me, you have seen the Father?” Wow!

This is where we see Jesus praying for unity of His church. Look at this amazing glory! “These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do. And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word. Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee. For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. O, righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17

Wow. Let’s expound on some portions of this chapter: “that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.” Right here Jesus said that they might know the true God and Jesus Christ. All these sayings and phrases are focusing on the three all being one.

“…have known surely that I came out from thee.” Do you see?

Jesus came out of God but was never separated from God. If you see me, you see the Father, He said. Even though Jesus came out of the Father, the Godhead was still in bodily form, in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Colossians 2:9 says, “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”

“Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are…” Now it is when we – His Church – come in.

The one – who came out of the Father – asking the Father to make those who He has given Him to become one – just as the Father and the Son are one.

Can we now say that “four shall become one”? Just another provoking thought.

“They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world…” Hum… How deep can we go? The carnal mind cannot understand the things of the Spirit.

“That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us:..”  Another confirmation…

“…that they may be made perfect in one;” …Wow.

So, we have many body members in the church but One.

“…that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.” The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit, His church… we all shall become one in Him as the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are one!

“For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.” Ephesians 5:30-32

This is a great mystery! A mystery that cannot be revealed by flesh and blood, by a carnal mind. We have been divided for so long. It is time, today is the day that John 17 will be fulfilled, the prayer that Jesus Christ prayed to the Father will be an answer to Himself. The Father God, through the works of His Holy Spirit, will grant to His son His request…Just like Christ Jesus came out of God, His church will come out of Christ, members of His body, flesh of His flesh, bones of His bones. Only then the world will believe. May He be in us, just as He is in the Father! This is a holy theology, a sacred doctrine that does not divide but unites members of the Body until the Bride of Christ is formed in the image of them: of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit! Selah!
