The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil was in the Garden. Not the tree of good and evil but the tree of the knowledge! Read Genesis 2:7-10, Genesis 2:15, and Genesis 2:21-25. The Word says that every tree was good to eat BUT the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil! BUT there was a Tree of Life right there for us to eat from. Adam and Eve did not know the knowledge of good and evil, they were free! Free to make a choice. The tree was pleasant to the eyes and desirable to make one wise (Genesis 3:6). They were tempted by their eyes and they desired wisdom. At that moment, they made their choice, their eyes were open, immediately they knew they were naked. They were free before but now guilt, shame, and condemnation entered in. Fear was now in their midst because when we are afraid, we hide. They hid themselves from God and covered themselves with fig leaves. Their minds were now open, and they were conscious of right and wrong. We know that because of this: The law, later on, was brought by Moses! Both of them were thrown out of the Garden. The Tree of Life was cut off from them. Swords of fire guarded the Tree of Life! Sin, toil, and curse were on them and on the land. We have the same choice today. So, I ask you: What tree are you eating from?
The Tree of Knowledge was good for food and pleasant unto the eyes. That one thing that they should not do, they did. They not only touched it but ate it. Fig leaves were used to cover up their shame. They hid themselves from the presence of God. Now, Satan became forever an instrument of seduction, and the world became a place of death. Now seed time, harvest, toil, and sweat entered in with sin. Man will no longer live forever. Because of one man’s sin, all now are born into sin. We know the rest. God had one Lamb waiting to enter into the world, to take away sin, not to cover it up.
What is the Tree of Life? Shall I ask who and what is life now? Jesus. What does the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil produce? Fear! Shall I ask who is father of lies and fear? They hid themselves. They ran from God. All of a sudden, fear covered them. Why do we need to know a lot about good and evil? That knowledge will bring you despair and will kill your hope. Why do we need to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, if the only knowledge we need to know is Him? If you are a minister of Jesus, you need to preach on the Tree of Life, and draw many to eat from it!
Instead of using the expression “two trees,” Paul used the words “two tables,” 1 Corinthians 10:21. Are you eating from the table of the Lord or the table of demons? Jesus said, “I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world,” John 6:51, and “Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day,” John 6:54. Did Jesus preach fear or faith? Did He preach life or death? It is time to come up higher, Beloved!
If you know Him, you eat from Him. To eat from Him is to eat from the Tree of Life. Many cannot recognize either the Spirit of God or the spirit of the age! This last generation has such a root of pride and rebellion, even so in a church setting. Social media is exposing so many! Has the father of pride made us a messenger of fear? Has the Holy Spirit made us a messenger of faith? What does the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil look like? It was enticing, good, and pleasant to the sight! The Word says: “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.” James 1:13
Read James 1:2-22. It talks about the trial of your faith, not the trial of your fear. You cannot eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil and the Tree of Life and still be stable! Can I eat from two trees and still live? Can you eat from the table of the Lord and of the devil and still live? Are we messengers of faith, or knowledge, or fear?
Whatever fruit the enemy is trying to give to you, if it comes from that Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, you better spit it out. We should be walking trees of life around the Earth. If faith saves us and brings life, what does fear do? Kills us and brings death. Can a fig tree produce thorns and thistles? We are not called to spread the gospel of thorns and thistles.
Read Genesis 3:17. Can a bramble bush and thistle produce fruit? Luke 6:43-45 talks about a good tree! Men that eat from the knowledge of good and evil gather thorns and thistles. If you are eating from the wrong tree, you will be tormented and fearful for what is coming out upon the Earth. Let’s eat from the Tree of Life and live forever in peace, joy, and righteousness. We seek knowledge, science, and all the things that the beast ends up using to deceive the world to worship the mind, the seven-headed system that man bows down to.
Why do so many prophesy the devil’s plans? Because of rejection, pride, and fear. This is what happens when all we move in is pride, trying to show off what we know. We begin to operate in pride and God resists us. So instead of Him giving revelation, we start serving information. The problem with information is that it always changes and evolves. This is where religion lives. The more I know about good and bad, the more in fear I will walk. The more I know about what is hanging on the Tree of Life, the more peace I will walk in.
Many get mad at the sheep, thinking that the sheep are sleeping or do not care, or are dumb sheep just because they don’t want to eat from the same tree. It is not that we are ignorant of Satan’s devises! We just don’t want to eat from that tree! Read James 4:4-8. We are resisting His fear! Jesus, the tree of life, is all 100% Truth. It is not about information but pure revelation that comes from the sap of that tree! Resist the devil, resist the fear that comes from his table, and don’t eat it. It’s not that we have our heads in the sand! No, we have our minds on things above, way above! We are seated with Christ in heavenly places. Have you seen and heard that we have the mind of Christ? So, if we have that mind, we are supposed to think like Him.
You are either dining with the Prince of Peace or being tossed to and fro by the prince of the air! The Word of God, the Word of Truth, cuts through the airwaves that spread the knowledge of good and evil. If you eat it by mistake or deception, spit it out or throw it up! Deception is thinking you are doing right but you are not! But we who know Him, we know all things already because we know Him! We resist it, we don’t eat it. His sheep hear His voice and they will not follow the voice of a stranger nor strange voices! An evil report was saying, “There are giants in the land.” Ten of the spies ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. The other two ate from the Tree of Life and faith! The Tree of Life knows and sees all things BUT LIVES IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD, not of the world of the knowledge of good and evil! So, what is being produced are the fruits of faith by the Holy Spirit and the fruits of fear that come from the devil.
Read Romans 14:16-18. The people of God see the snakes and see the darkness! But they overcome by the light and their lives are no longer theirs! So, they rely on the Holy Spirit leading, not on fear and knowledge! You cannot be led by fear or by knowledge or you won’t make it. Because that is works of the flesh. It is coming back under the law! Moses came with the law with the fall of man! God gave us access back to eat the Tree of Life that is Christ!
Read John 1:16-17. Let us see what the Spirit is saying between information and revelation. Many will throw out the scripture in Hosea 4:6 that says, “My children perish for lack of knowledge.” That is one of the reasons we must divide the word of Truth. What kind of knowledge is God talking about? The knowledge of the Word, of the Truth! Who is the Truth? Jesus Christ. Who is the Word? Jesus Christ. God’s children perish for the lack of knowledge of Him! What kind of God would He be if He was telling us not to eat knowledge of Good and evil and later on was telling us that we perish for not eating it? We need to stop allowing Christians to take scripture out of God’s context of the entire Word and the entire revelation. Remember: Paul said he chose to know nothing but Christ crucified (1 Corinthians 2:2) even though he was full of the Torah. So, what was he speaking of? The knowledge of Christ!
Information is man’s knowledge, mixed truths, opinions, and some lies! This is what our news for the world has become! Revelation is CHRIST revealing mysteries, revealing life, revealing power, revealing the Truth of God, and revealing JESUS CHRIST! The Book of Revelation was never meant to glorify the devil but to glorify the Lamb who was slain before the foundation of the world! It was a victory declaration! It is the book of REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST, THE CHURCH AND THE VICTORY OVER DEATH THROUGH CHRIST!
The world lives by information. We live by revelation. Read Revelation 1:1-3. According to the Bible, Jesus says it’s His good pleasure to give us the kingdom of God! Luke 12:31-32 says, “Fear not!” If you eat from this Tree of Life, there will be no fear! What is the kingdom? Joy, righteousness, and peace! Jesus said all these things in a time where there was much persecution! So, His Word stands at all times! The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil will tell you to worry about tomorrow, but the Tree of Life in Matthew 6:32-34?said do not worry! Be concerned about eating Him more than anything. Be worried if you are not eating from the right tree.
“Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken,” Luke 21:26. Many have their eyes on things to come, and their hearts are failing them! Keep your eyes on the one that comes above the cloud.
This is why we preach Jesus and His victory and our redemption. Satan loses the game. It is over even before it started. We have the victory. We see all that is going on. We are not blind. Please do not act as if we are. We just have our eyes on the prize, but we live by faith, not fear. Without faith, you cannot please God.
There is only one fear that we have to have: to fear the One who has the power of eternal destiny. The only fear that brings wisdom is the fear of the Lord. Will He find faith in you when He comes or fear? Both are written. Therefore, we are so serious about keeping God’s sheep focused on the Shepherd. Do you realize that the Book of Revelation is all about revelations, that it is the revealing of the Church, the lion of Judah, and the victory of the saints? It was not written to glorify the enemy. Will he find faith or fear in you? Stop eating from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. There is no fear in love. Who is love? God. There is no fear in God. Eat only from the Tree of Life. You cannot even eat from the fruits that fall off the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, or you will die. The religious system is eating and preaching from both trees. How can that be?
Read Luke 18:7-8?and Matthew 6:8-15. ?God will not feed people from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, that is not our daily bread! Deliver us from the temptation of eating from the wrong tree, Father! The Tree of Life always produces love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance! If you eat from Christ Jesus, you will always have your belly filled with that! Do not let any man take your crown, take your faith, or take your joy, because they are preaching from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil! If you are getting invaded by darkness, turn your life around! Father, we want to feast on you, our Tree of Life! Father, we know if we eat from you, we will live, forevermore! Today, we start prophesying from the Tree of Life! We start eating from the Tree of Life! We will bear much fruits, fruits of the Tree of Life! We will eat from the tree mentioned in Revelation 22:2! We eat its fruits. We eat its leaves. And surely, we will live, forevermore!
Like Paul said, “I choose to know nothing but Christ and Him crucified,” 1 Corinthians 2:2. Father, we want the Spirit of wisdom and revelation and the knowledge of You, not the knowledge of good and evil but the knowledge of You.
