We see Jesus warning the Church in Revelation chapter 3.

Be either hot or cold but lukewarm is not good. What it is saying is be all in or all out. What it is saying is run after Him, He is fire. Religion births lukewarmness, apathy, and dead works.

But we are talking about nakedness.

“I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.” Revelation 3:15-19

He will spew us out of His mouth! We are inside of Him. The Bible talks about walking in the Spirit. The Bible talks about putting on Christ. The Bible talks about us being the tabernacle of God. The Bible talks about putting on the full armor of God that is Christ. The Bible says in 2 Corinthians 5 that we are in Christ and a new creation. He is saying that because you are looking around and not at Him and because you are in need of nothing, you are lacking Him.

To the natural eye that looks good and well. In the Spirit, we need to be clothed in something. That is Christ.

It is easier for a poor man to get into the Kingdom of God. Our dependency is on need. So why would a rich man be miserable, poor, blind, and naked? He is talking about in the Spirit.

Jesus always uses the natural things of the world so we can see in the Spirit.

Invest in the poor, in the Kingdom of God, so that the shame of your nakedness will not appear. Put treasures where it cannot be stolen and cannot be lost! This is the problem with today’s Christianity. We are always talking about His cross, forgetting He has one for us. Godliness with contentment is great gain. We are now spiritual beings. So, it does not matter what you accumulate in the natural if are not in Him. Going to church does not mean you are in Him. Being on fire for Him does. I thank God for the present shaking to see how naked they are. Money cannot buy you love or Glory.

We need to have eyes to see and ears to hear. They go together! You obtain it by a spiritual sense. Go buy spiritual glasses! We need to be able to see with His eyes.

To Him that overcomes – Faith is tested and tried. We have chances to deny Him and even betray Him. We need to continue to overcome. He that overcomes I will grant him to sit with me. He already overcame, so we can too.

I had a dream and people had on blankets. I was thinking that they are covering themselves. Then I thought that security blankets make people feel secure.

Clothed in:

Bank accounts

Jobs and positions

Family and friends

In their patriotism

In their ministry

In their man-made titles

In their careers

In what they do

God is saying what if all of this is stripped away, will you be found naked? Will you be clothed in our man-made garments? That will not work. Ask Adam. They were once clothed in Glory. Now, because of Christ, we, too, can be clothed in Him and be a living sacrifice.

He wants us to be clothed in Truth.

Put on the Lord Jesus is what the Bible says.

What should we be clothed in? Christ! Become one with the Word. Clothed in the Word. Put on Christ and make no provisions for the flesh to fulfill the lusts thereof. Clothed in humility as it says in 1 Peter 5:1-8. Clothed in His Glory. We are the tabernacle of God.

Feed the flock of God. Be of a ready mind. Be an example to the flock. When the true Shepard appears, you will receive a crown of glory that will not fade away?

“For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.” 2 Corinthians 5:1-3

The adversary walks around seeking whom he may devour. Pride exalts itself above the Word of God. We must stay under His Word, His covering.

When you’re out of the Glory, you are in the darkness.

Lay up your treasures in heaven. Do not invest your resources in what can be stripped away in one day.

Your eye must be on Jesus!

You need eyes like doves’ eyes, eyes that must be on Christ!

What is your focus!

What your focus is on is what you will be clothed in.

No man can serve two Masters. It must be the Kingdom of God! We can deceive ourselves so fast! It’s not always the devil! You can convince yourself of your own lusts and begin to believe it is true. The Bible will change for you if you want it to. We can be deceived and not see any longer what is Truth! You can make carnal sense of it, but it is not a spiritual reality.

Sometimes your eyes do see because God is showing you in the Spirit, knowing and defending things. It’s called revelation!

Mammon is idols. Every one of the blankets is an idol. They cannot be your covering.

Consider the lilies in the field. They grow and do not toil, even Solomon in all His glory was not arrayed like them. Why? God’s creation shows His Glory. Everything Solomon did was with resources that man put value on but God created it. Now we are the temple of His Glory made by Him with all Solomon’s Glory. This tabernacle was made by God, not man. That is amazing! Gold represents the Glory. You should be filled with treasure. Christ in you the hope of GLORY!

Everything in the Earth that man took and made his own cannot match what God has created in His glory.

Your blanket is not your security!

Many people have these blankets but are not clothed in Christ!

God knows we have need of all these things! Seek the security blanket of His righteousness and you will be His remnant.

Read 2 Corinthians 5:1-12.

Solomon took the elements of the world. God created us for His glory! We need to reverse it and everything we do needs to be done for the glory of God!

Jesus has given us the earnestness of His Spirit. How? By being clothed in the Spirit of God.

Where do we go to be with Him? In the Glory. It is all about the Glory!

Read Revelation 3:3-6.

Watch for the thief in night. If you are naked, you will not know he is coming.

Read Revelation 7.

We should be clothed with this scripture. God gave a dream so we need to focus on this.

No man can number!

Of all the nations, kindreds, people, and tongues. No man can number!

We will stand, before the throne. Clothed now! Being crucified with Christ. Rooted and grounded in Christ. Being baptized in Christ.

Are you stirring up the flame? Are you a burning one? Or are you letting these blankets be your safety! Do not let these blankets, these false securities, smother the fire that should be consuming you.

Worship is a lifestyle. It’s what you do, what you think, and who you obey. He says come together and encourage one another to stand. Listen to God’s prophets! Not everyone can hear unless they are clothed in Him. God uses an earthy example of putting eye solvent on so you can see. Some have eyes but they cannot see through their blankets.

We are the ones in white robes. They serve Him day and night! For the lamb shall feed them and lead them. God shall wipe away all their tears.

Do not rely on the elements of this world, the security of the government, or the security of family.

Our security must be Christ! Clothed in humility! Clothed in glory. Clothed in His righteousness!

“We thank you, Jesus, that you are our righteousness! We want to purchase the raiment that cannot be purchased by the elements of this world! We want to buy this Gold, this Glory that cannot be bought with money but with fire and sacrifice. Father, let it be done according to your Word. Amen.” Shane W Roessiger
