ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

If I hear one more Christian say do not tempt God or do not test God… Stop! Do not waste your time. You are speaking from another gospel and you need to read your Bible. I have been filtering all accusations for over two months, and now I’m going to address it! Also, you fear and say you have faith. I choose faith. It looks like something, and if I die, it will be in faith. That is not testing God, it is living by His Word. It is actually pleasing God. Without faith, it is impossible to please HIM!

Let us make a clear difference between testing God and living by faith. So, if I jumped out of a plane without a parachute and said, “God, you said that you would never leave me, that you would protect me,” then I would die. That would be stupid and that is testing GOD! Because for one thing, that is not in the Bible, but what is in the BIBLE is this – Jesus is healer! He takes our disease. No sickness or virus can come near my dwelling. Now I am the HOUSE of God. I am not saying I or anyone cannot get sick and that if you do, you have no faith. What I am saying is I am not afraid I will get sick. Let us look at what is in the Bible. He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. All manner of sickness! Not just the common cold, all! Then He said preach, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.” What does at hand mean? HERE!

He said, “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.” Then after He rose from the dead, he appeared to over 500 people. Now, because of the cross, He gives all believers power to do these signs, and “these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name they shall cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.”

“They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and the sick shall recover.” Where does sickness come from? The devil! He said this and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. Power over? He did not say I give you power to jump out of a plane without a parachute, like in this time. In the time of Jesus, we would say jump off a cliff.

Even in the book of Acts, we see this: “It came to pass, that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.”

So, when this was done, others, also, who had diseases on the island, came, and were healed – FAITH! You might be saying, “Well yes, but that is not an epidemic or an airborne sickness.” Okay, but there was an epidemic going on in that time as well that was also airborne and very contagious. It was called leprosy. Remember, Jesus said cleanse them.

Here are some facts about leprosy. Leprosy was an incurable, mutilating, and contagious disease. You can catch it only if you come into close and repeated contact with nose and mouth droplets from someone with untreated leprosy (so it was a virus or some bibles call it a plague). BOOM! THERE IT IS! So, anything of these charlatans who are promoting your fear and telling you to rely on the arm of flesh and the wisdom of man is a doctrine of devils.

I do not care how mature they think they are. They are wrong, and they are false. The crazy thing is that I never was attacking anyone wearing a mask, or gloves, or hiding from the world. I was merely boosting their faith or boasting on Jesus who cures all disease. Now on social media, you who call yourself preachers and are causing division, then I think about that milestone message Jesus spoke of. So many are offended at me. You are very mistaken. You are offended at the Word and by me preaching the real Gospel. 

I was accused that I am going to get people killed. These words coming from our own religious counterparts. Then rebuking me saying I am testing God. No, He is incredibly pleased with me and with my faith and that I am standing on His Word. But He is not pleased with their own protection and fear. They have put their trust in horses and chariots. I will put my trust in the Lord. I will believe Him now, not run to Him when all else fails or I get sick. The Bible also says that if any are sick among you, call the elders, lay hands on them, and the prayer of faith will heal them. So how is doing that and believing that mocking God? I am sorry but you are all totally wrong. Either the Bible is Truth or NOT. It is not conditional, nor is God a respecter of persons.

I had a dream a little while back. I saw a Christian dressed as a lion, and looked exactly like a lion, but I could see a human face. But the lion was looking like one from the Wizard of Oz. God said, “I’m looking for courageous ones, not cowards. I am looking for the faithful, not the faithless. I am looking for the fearless, not the fearful. Then He gave an analogy.

We need to remember Jesus is the Word made flesh and the Bible is the Word of God. This blew my mind. Here comes Jesus walking on the water when they knew it was Him, and this is like we should know our Bibles. He told Peter to step out in faith and to come out on the water. The religious brethren would say that he is testing God even though he heard and saw the Word. Or they will say he is foolish, or God gave us wisdom for a reason? What if Peter believed Jesus (the Word, the Bible) and said, “Ok, Lord, but wait! I’m going to grab my life preserver or life jacket.” Just in case! Would that have been faith or doubt? Would that have pleased God or not? Do you know how many times Jesus rebuked them for having little or no faith?

When satan tried to tempt God, it was just that, trying to prove Himself. That is tempting God, not believing his Word. We are not testing God just talking about living in faith, or any minister would not get a video camera and walk into a nursing home full of the corona virus and say breathe on me, hug me. I’m going prove to you my God. That is extreme and would be foolish and testing Him. We are just talking about living in these new normal times, not in fear but in faith. 

There might be people out there who are sick, just like there are poisonous snakes, probably millions of snakes and poisonous creatures. Do we wear protection gear all the time? No, why? Because life is full of risk. I have more of a chance to get in a car accident and die then I do to die from a virus. So, I trust God. He is going to send His angels already before me. If did get in a car accident, I just got in a car. I’m not testing God. I’m just living life. Paul was bit by a poisonous snake and shook it off in the fire. Nothing happened to Him and God got glorified. Why? Paul’s faith was in Jesus, not man, not people, not doctors, and He put God in control of His life, not him. When lepers came into Jesus and got in His space, did Jesus freak out? No! Did He say, “Wait and let me put on some gloves for protection?” No! He was walking in the kingdom of God. Fear is a liar and it will kill you. It will make you a sinner. It will stop you from ever seeing God have Glory in your life. When you try to push your poison of fear on others, you are working for the devil. There are Christians who are scared to leave their homes. They are wearing masks even in their cars or even as they worship Jesus in the church choir. This does not please God! It is a sign of the beast. It’s actually hypocrisy. Carry the Bible, read it, tell about it, and be in fear?

Unbelief is sin and believing the Bible is FAITH. Believing the Bible is not tempting God, it is PLEASING HIM. I rebuke you and those words. Faith is my filter! Faith is a shield. God is merciful. But there is something about the tenacity of believing. He is bigger than that reality you have trapped yourself in. Let them mock you, hate you, revile you, and say all kinds of things about you, but God is pleased.

What happened with 10 spies who were afraid? Their wisdom told them that they better stay here on the side where it’s safe, but God said, “Joshua and Caleb, you have a different spirit. You other 10 do not believe me and my words so you will die where you are,” and ALL of the spies, except Joshua and Caleb, were struck down with a plague and died. Fear kills, faith lives. God hates fear. He hates unbelief more than any other sin. You, my religious counterparts, as the serpent was lifted so was my Christ. He took it all but you have to believe. The cross means nothing to them who are perishing but to us who BELIEVE it is the power of God. You are actually the ones looking foolish in these times and season. A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways, receiving another from above.

Enough is enough! If you continue to kick against the pricks, you are sure to find your place with the hypocrites who are struggling with fear. We are here for you and God is merciful, but woe to you who preach and teach fear and rely on the wisdom of man You are a puppet and your master is fear. You are not only in the world, but you are just like her, but my Bride is not afraid because they live by faith. They are under Psalm 91. If you knew how many of my fearless warriors I have hidden in Me for such a time as this. Believe and receive, the kingdom of God is at hand. In Me there is no fear. When the Bible speaks about believers, it is believing His Word. He is the Word. Shane Roessiger
