WE ARE THE CHURCH

We are the church! Yet a house divided cannot stand! The Bible says do not deny the assembly of the saints! God has been giving gifts and callings to saints all over the world to feed and grow the sheep. How can we feed the sheep if they are never around? How can we build kingdom relationships just through a telephone? Don’t tell me we don’t need to come together when everyone that says we don’t are usually lukewarm lone wolves! We need to wake up because without the body there is no head.

The body is connected to the head. The head is Christ. To receive the fullness of the head, we need the fullness of the body! The anointing drips from the beard and the body receives. The brain sends the messages to the body and the body moves. How can the arm tell itself what to do? How can the leg move on its own? It doesn’t! The brain sends a message that flows through the whole body to get the message to the one body part.

This is also a depiction of the body of Christ. Yet if the apostle or prophet has a message from God for you or has impartation for you, what are you going to tell him, do it over Facebook messenger? This is nonsense.

Yes, I understand that everyone doesn’t want to go to a religious building. Yet the building is not religious, the people inside it are! The walls of God’s church are not physical! They are spiritual! The walls are the minds of born again believers and their hearts are the city of God. What's inside that city and behind those walls is what determines purity or dross.

Religion is mindsets, strongholds, intentions, desires, and agendas that portray themselves as God but they are really man’s ways! You can still be religious without going to church! Not going to church doesn’t make you religious or set apart! It’s what you believe that makes it so! The Bible says it’s not what goes in that defiles you, it’s what comes out of you. Out of our mouth, the heart speaks. Whatever we believe deep down will manifest on our lips! And if it’s religion, then we know that our situation is not religious, we are the religious one!

Nothing in and of itself is religious. It’s what we do with things and people with our heart that’s religious.

I can pray ten times the same prayer and it can be religious, yet someone else can and it may not be religious for them. Why? Their mind was set differently, something different was happening in their heart. They were crying out to the Lord, praying by the Spirit, and I was praying by the flesh hoping to get Man to hear me in order to earn their favor. That’s just one example.

Yet the point still stands the same, don’t call the building religious. It’s the system, the people. Even house-church can be religious, a different building but the same people. It may not have a steeple. Yet if they are Catholic and they are not meeting in the Catholic Church, who cares! They are still Catholic! It was never the temple. It was them that were the problem.

Then we have people that don’t want to meet at all and they say we are the church. Yet 99% of those people have been to church, and they have gotten offended. Something happened, or they couldn’t find a real church. Just because you can’t find God's real people doesn’t mean they are not out there meeting!

And just because your hurt and offended doesn’t mean every gathering is going to do the same. Half the time, it’s usually not them, it’s you.

People need to cut the crap and or they will be cut from the body! We are the church, but if we don’t come together with the body, we will be cut off. We are called to produce fruit and that fruit is so that others can eat. The fruit has seed inside of it and when they eat it, that seed takes root in them and produces fruit in them!

Many of us are being a loose limb with no body to contribute to. Some of you just look like a finger in the Spirit, or a toe. Yet you would look more powerful if you were connected to a body! A house divided cannot stand.

There is a corporate anointing that many are missing out there! And if you don’t receive from it you will lose your personal one which is Christ, the gift of God.

And many still won’t gather because they are too full of pride to long suffer with the saints. Many are so judgmental and critical, they couldn’t last a day in church. Yet you need to stop judging by the flesh and follow the Holy Spirit on where you should be and what you should do, and judge and speak by the Spirit so that you would edify and build up the body of Christ.

Love doesn’t sit home and let everybody suffer. “If you love me you will feed my sheep!” Peter, hey! Do you love me? Yes, Lord. Then feed my sheep! Hey, Peter, one more time, just to make sure that you know this is not about you – this is about them – and that this is my most important thing for you which is why I’m saying it three times. Feed my sheep.

And yet we still won’t because we would rather go fishing. We still won’t because you know we have our own personal life and family to take care of. We have a big-time job. Well, I’ll tell you what, if you don’t put the Lord's house first, don’t cry and complain when all of your other houses and things are out of order. The anointing flows from the head down. God is saying, “Take care of my house and I will take care of yours!”

This is what we’re called to do. We all see in part, we all hear in part, and we come together to put the puzzle together. Everybody has a part to give in the real body. Yet if we won’t long-suffer and come to give our part and grow with the saints, then the blood is on our own hands. Yes, we are the church! So then, be one in Spirit, Truth, and Word and show the world what real unity and family looks like.
