Judgment Day

There is a day coming!  As the day of His coming draws near so does this day, the great and terrible day of the Lord. Are you ready? That day is calling your name, can you hear it? Everyday you live the call gets louder. 

That voice gets louder, He's coming. Not only is He coming, but you, me, and your neighbor will have to stand before Him. There is a day where not only the world will have to stand before Him but even the Church! Many people want to pretend that there won't be a day of judgment for those in Christ. Though if you’re truly in Christ, what is there to be worried about?

If you’re truly in Christ, this is a glorious day for you! The day that you meet your Father. The day that your reward comes to light. The day you receive the crown of life. This is your day if you’re in Christ, but are you in Christ? 

Did you stay in Christ? People think if they just believed or said the prayer that they’re in Christ. That doesn't speak for you, but obedience does! Those who endure until the end are in Christ. Those who follow Him are in Christ. Many will follow and then one day stop, are they still in Christ? No, because they have ceased to know Him. 

“To the one who is victorious and does my will to the end, I will give authority over the nations. that one will rule them with an iron scepter and will dash them to pieces like pottery just as I have received authority from my Father.  I will also give that one the morning star. Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.”

Revelation 2:26-29

The one who does HIS WILL until the end!! This is the one  who will stand clean on Judgment Day. The law was given to the world, to the ones that want to live without God or the ones that don't want to obey. Without the law, those that don't have God have nothing to be accountable to. Though because of the law, everyone who lives without God will be held accountable on that day of judgment. Though for those in Christ is a greater law, the law of God. That we would no longer live by a piece of paper anymore, but that we would live by the very Spirit of God!

That God would now be our accountability, and when we stand on Judgment Day, those that lived by the world will have to measure themselves to the law or their conscience. And the Church will be judged by the direct and indirect will of God for each one of their lives given by conviction and confirmation of the Holy Spirit. 

That inward witness will guide you, and He is the same witness that will stand at the throne and be a witness on your behalf if you obeyed and followed until the end.

Many people don't want to believe that we will have to take an account. Some say we were already being judged. Yes, that's true if you do live by His judgment until the end! Then on that day, it will be nothing but rewards and Him saying well done good and faithful servant, but look around! 

Not everyone is living by His judgment and, therefore, God will judge them as He pleases. Let's look in scripture and prove that not just the World but the Church will have to stand on Judgment Day.

“But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For is written, as I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then everyone of us shall give account of himself to God.” Romans 14:10-12

Judgment seat of Christ! So even Paul the apostle, the one everyone loves to quote, is including himself and the church that he is ministering to in this day of judgment. All will give account! And all will confess that Jesus is Lord. Those who are in hell, unbelievers, atheists, born-again, saved or unsaved, all will believe! Does that mean everyone will go to heaven? No! God decides who goes where, but wherever everyone goes, they will all know who He is and how real He is.

That means even those that persecute you and bash your name for serving God. Or the ones that make fun of you, they will all one day believe and tremble. They will all one day see that the living sacrifice of life to God that you lived was more important than anything. Even the ones that said you were doing the wrong thing will one day change their mind. Even your family or your worst persecutor will believe and regret their persecution against you. Let that motivate you if you are faithful to Him, the next time you come under pressure or persecution of your family or whoever your persecutors are. 

You will obey God instead of giving into them because you are looking and motivated by that day and will remember that all will believe and that all will know that you obeyed God. Everything done in the world, rewards, money, lands, people, work, or lifestyles won’t matter anymore because on that day, it will all fold up like a scroll and reality will set in. 

Let the fear of the Lord set in! All that will matter on that day is how you kept your heart before Him and if you made Him more important than the world. Even Christians will be shocked and will be judged. No one is guaranteed or else there wouldn't be a judgment. Eternal security is not only in a prayer, it's in a lifestyle. And the more you obey, the more secure you will feel about eternity!

Every hidden thing will be revealed on that day. Everything said or done in secret will be revealed on that day. The intentions and motives of all men’s hearts will be revealed on that day. And you will be revealed on that day. 

Are you ready for that day?

Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed! Men’s heart will fall from their chest, gnashing of teeth because of how real this day will be. Those who have been forgiven and continue to drink His blood and eat His flesh, who endure until the end, who were sold out, who obeyed until the end, who wasted their life for Jesus, who knew Him, will have all of their mistakes blotted out of the books. He forgets it all after repentance says the Bible! And the books will be open and their names will be found written in that book of life, and their names will live forever with Him...
