FEMINISM AND THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT

God is calling for corporate repentance. Give us eyes to see it in us and help to get every bit of it out of us so that we will no longer tolerate this. 

“I have a few things against you, because you tolerate that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication (with the world), and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she did not repent.” Revelation 2:20-21. 

He wants to deliver you from this spirit.

So please look at yourself today. Look at YOU! This is not just for women or married women. This is for singles and for men as well. Married, single, women, men…This spirit is everywhere. We have to see it and deal with it. We are born into and trained by Jezebel. I believe this is the main problem we have in the church today. We want to be in control. 

This message is not for the unbeliever. They would mock me, argue with me, and hate me, stone me.

It is for the Church. So I am speaking to believers, to you, to those who say they know and love Him. God wants your heart and mind free today. Ladies, you are fighting to be free and equal but you already are IN CHRIST. In His will and His ways. He doesn’t lie! The devil does! The deception is Satan telling you that you are not equal and in God’s eyes, you already are. The devil wants you to believe that you are not.

A few weeks ago, He said to study the Jezebel spirit. So I did. He really took me on a journey! He opened my eyes and I saw a lot, in me and in others. It’s all about control. Feminism tells you to be in control; that you have rights. But this is all contrary to the Kingdom of God. Every time feminism comes up and I see this spirit, I get so stirred up because I see the lies and devastation. It is fueled by anger and rebellion. Only in a life of salvation and submission can we be healed, restored, and totally set free! He is calling me, as a woman, as a woman who was deceived by it, to speak out against it. 

Feminism is not just an ideology; it’s an anti-CHRIST spirit and a demonic stronghold that Satan has over women. It makes women think they are missing out on something, just like Eve in the garden. She thought she was missing out on something. It made her discontent and she wanted to be just like God (just like Lucifer). Feminism not only makes women want to be like men, it makes them want to be their own god. It is a deception. Eve was deceived by the snake, Satan, and so are you. When we don’t submit to God, then who is God? You are!

Feminism comes from anger, hatred, and unforgiveness and leads to man-bashing. It comes from hurts, fear, and pride. Jezebel feels all this anger and fear. Satan attaches himself to those wounds. All those roots of bitterness make you want to protect yourselves but you are already protected in Christ. It goes hand in hand with abortion, rights over your own body. It’s your body so you can do whatever you want? Since when do we do what we want in the Kingdom of God? It’s about dying and the Cross. Who protects the unborn babies? It’s murder. I used to think it was just tissue, too. I tried to convince myself. But my spirit didn’t really testify. I knew deep inside that something wasn’t right. Then God opened my eyes. Have Him open yours, too. 

There is a spirit of abortion running rampant that wants to abort babies and their destinies and your destiny, too; but we have the Spirit of Adoption as sons and daughters of the living God and are destined to do greater things as the manifestation of the sons of God comes to its fruition and fulfillment on the earth! You want to know your place and be ready for that! – The greatest time of the Church of Jesus Christ on the Earth, the greatest move of the Holy Spirit – through us, is still to come. That is why Satan is trying so hard to blind you and take you out of your true place in Him. 

Women have swallowed this demonic ideology hook, line and sinker, and it is meant to sink you! It looks so good---women’s rights to equal pay and protection---but it gets us out of place with God and man. You don’t want to submit to man but it’s really God that you don’t want to submit to. There were NO women apostles. They were the twelve! Twelve men! There are NO women apostles today. Maybe for a time, a Deborah is raised up, but God is restoring the first church and His apostolic order.

This is not about equality. We are equal before God and each other. There is not Jew, Greek, male, female, black, white. Galatians 3:28. We are ALL ONE in Christ Jesus. We are just as loved, just as wanted, just as needed in the Body of Christ. We will ALL move in great power and authority because He is in us! THIS IS NOT ABOUT EQUALITY!!! This is about destiny! This is not about oppression. In fact, the only oppression is what Satan wants to do to you with his lies. He is the oppressor, devourer, and liar. Because you do not know who you really are in Christ, but he does, so he has stolen your identity and your destiny. That’s his job. He is angry and wants you to be, too. This IS about POSITION.

I’m fighting for your soul today. I’m not fighting with you but for you. I’m not trying to put you in a box. I’m trying to set you free. I was in THAT box. And it NEVER felt right. I don’t know what happened to you, but you have to FORGIVE!!! It’s in the Word of God! Once you forgive, healing comes. Anger goes. Then there’s no place for Jezebel. You must forgive.

We are equal but our position is different:

Submission to God, to our husbands, and to apostolic order.

Our bodies are different for a reason. We are the weaker vessel. 1 Peter 2:7. I cannot do the things my husband can do. My husband covers me physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We came out of Adam’s side (rib); look at the POSITION---carefully protected under his arm and standing right next to him. This is in Christ and where we want to be. If you are honest with yourselves, this IS what every woman really wants because that is HOW we are created. 

The perversion of this is feminism. The perversion of this is the Jezebel spirit. The perversion of this is to use your feminine wiles to seduce and get what you want. We are teaching little girls to do this, and it will backfire on them. I have seen too many young girls tormented by getting involved with sexual activity too young because they are looking for love and they don’t know the love of the Father. 

Let’s look at the Word, Ephesians 5:21-33.  

“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.” Ephesians 5:21-33

 So right there in verse 21, it says to “submit to one another in the fear of the Lord,” meaning according to the Word and as the Holy Spirit leads. This is clear. We can trust men of God, our husbands and our spiritual leaders. There are no lone rangers and mavericks in the Body. We have to be accountable to one another but in the fear of the Lord and with reverence (verse 33). 

 But in verse 22, it says: “Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord,” and “in everthing” (verse 24).In what? EVERYTHING! This is not a suggestion. This is a command. It you really want to submit to God, you will submit to your husband. Sorry, Ladies, the Word is the Word. Why? It goes on to explain the mystery of Christ and the church, that there is POWER and FREEDOM in the submission. When we submit, it means YOUR WILL, NOT MINE. It’s all about the right position of the Church and all of us in it so that we can see great things happen on the Earth, the pouring out of the Spirit of Elijah, the Holy Spirit, in these end times such as the Earth has never seen, not even in the Book of Acts! So we can see and be the Bride rising up! This is why Satan is coming against women, and order, and position so hard. 

“And the wife see that she reverence her husband.” (verse 33)

Reverence: honor, respect, deference, profound adoring, bow down to.

In the Greek: to be in awe of, fear, to venerate, to treat with deference or reverential obedience.

Who’s mad at me now? Are we reverencing our husbands? This is the Word of God for us married women and for the Bride of Christ!

Let’s look at some of the characteristics of Jezebel now, the last to reverence and bow down. 

I want to mention Shane’s latest word: when he said that “Jezebel’s main purpose is to subvert using seductions to the soul.” He said to look up the meaning of SUBVERT:

SUBVERT: to overturn or overthrow from the foundation, to pervert or corrupt by undermining morals, allegiance, or faith. 

SUBVERT is the complete opposite to SUBMIT. 

This spirit wants to tear down what God wants to build. It wants to destroy the family and order. It likes its upside down morality. Anything to keep you out of your right place in God.

God gave me some revelation about Adam and Eve. God let me see Eve’s motivation. She had “good” intentions but they were not “God” intentions. Think about it. She was trying to “help” her husband have a better life. I believe she was sincere. I believe she wanted the best for him. That’s why her nakedness was still covered until Adam made the decision to agree with her in her “intentions.” But I believe that she thought she was missing out on something and then thought she could make it better. She was discontent with what they had. That was the trap. That is why we must be content with the will of God or we will seek our own way right into sin. She wanted to be her own god. Adam decided to disobey and be God, too. Then they were in trouble. The Jezebel spirit came in. Now it was a fight between God’s way or your ways, between husband and wife, between Jezebel and Ahab. 

Jezebel wants to be her own god, the goddess of self. It is a seductress. Bathsheba seduced David. Delilah seduced Samson. Paul says it’s better to be single. What are we trying to seduce our husbands or our friends to do? God is speaking about friendships, too. Who are you trying so hard to control? Who are you angry with? If you’re not happy with someone or not getting along with someone, most likely you are trying to make them your eunuch.

Jezebel is so angry at God and man! When its angry, it will try to hurt you and put witchcraft on you. Jezebel is the most angry, most miserable, most tormented person on the planet! They don’t look it, but they are. They try to hide it but they can’t for long. Its goal is to make you miserable too and use you as their punching bag for their anger and misery. It wants control and perfection in its own perfect world (kingdom) but it’s a false and impossible state of perfection. NO ONE could live up to it if they tried. It has a victim mentality and thinks it is right and has rights, and that you owe them something but you really don’t. 

It’s Jezebel’s way or the highway. No one can live up to Jezebel’s standards. This spirit will try to make you discontent with what you have or your position, like Eve, and try t take yours. It will make you think that you are missing out or that there is something better that you need to have. If I only had this…If it was only like this…but it is all an illusion because God’s will is best. He works everything for good. That’s the Word. Her own kingdom is all in her head, and she will grow exhausted and bitter trying to control everything in her life and be her own god because that will NEVER happen. How exhausting is that? 

You really don’t trust! We cannot control or fix anything but do what we can do and that’s it. We need to let this Jezebel spirit go today. We need to get it out of us. God says, “Enough is enough.” 

God showed me that a lot of mental illness is a profound Jezebel spirit. Obsessive compulsive issues are all related to over-control of the environment. It’s insane to think we can change or control anything. 

We try so hard to manipulate each other in our relationships instead of to just love, wait, and pray. YOU CANNOT CONTROL A SOUL! I was berating myself because someone I love is not walking with the Lord. God rebuked me because that is not my responsibility. It’s a false burden. They have their own free will, and they must bend it to His will just like we do. It is not your responsibility to change anyone or to be the Holy Spirit for anyone, no matter how much of a seer you are. It’s His! Get your Jezebel hands off! God is not pleased with how we treat each other, especially us wives concerning our husbands, but also friendships. He told me that. Ouch! 

Jezebel has a trapping spirit that tries to pull and draw information out of you to use against you. You feel violated, almost dirty, after talking to them because they are trying to steal your position and your anointing. The motive is not pure. They are trying to gain ultimate control over you and subvert you. Talk about manipulation! 

We even try to manipulate the Holy Spirit! Baptists control by saying it doesn’t exist. We want it to move a certain way. We cannot dictate how and when He moves. We cannot manipulate the Holy Spirit when we come together! What are we thinking? 

I have to say something about “helping.” I have seen a lot of Jezebel’s that LOVE to help. Helping is good but this is not pure. It is almost excessive and over the top. It wants control or for you to KNOW that it’s helping you. Helping is good but what is your motive? What is the hidden agenda? Is it to control? To be seen? Think about it. Helping vs. controlling? It manifests by being “too” helpful, too much. The other thing to beware of is self-righteousness. This spirit really thinks its right and will try to lord it over you. 

The Jezebel spirit will destroy your family and the family of God if we let it. Let’s take care of ourselves and our own families so that we can take care of the family of God.

Let me ask you this?

Brother: Whose kingdom are you living in in your own house?

Sister: Is that what you really want?

“Happy wife, happy life” is a lie of Satan because if Jezebel gets its way, everyone will be miserable because they will be out of order. Subversion not submission! Children raised in a Jezebel home will be just like her. These are unhappy children because they are allowed to be rebellious. Jezebel is all about rebellion. Satan wants you and your family and the church to be out of order. And when Ahab gives is, you are all more miserable than ever even though your goal was to keep peace and make things better. You just made it worse.

God is showing us these things so we can BEWARE and BE SET FREE! 

What length will you go to today to be free? Do you see what’s at stake here? The Kingdom of God and your destiny! God wants to help us see so we can repent, and He wants to deliver you. This is the spirit to beat…in ourselves, in our family, in the church, in the world. Are you willing?

We have to change some things today!
