Many Are Called, Few Are Chosen

Just because you are called does not mean you are chosen.

Who are the chosen ones? The ones that submit to the process, those that surrender, those who endure until the end, those with clean hands and a pure heart: the obedient!

All the disciples were called, but not all of them were chosen. Judas did not endure. He was chosen but he squandered the call. The chosen ones will endure whatever all the way until the end. The guy at the cross – at the last minute – proved himself to be the chosen one. On that day, he was in paradise with Jesus. In a house, we have vessels. Jesus chooses the vessels of gold and silver.

Let’s just think about all the parables about the kingdom of heaven. He is calling everybody all over the place! In the scene where they get a penny, they were sitting around idle. Then it spoke about how the kingdom is and all He called He had chosen, have you meditated on this yet? Then they have a wedding and called many to the wedding, but it did not mean that they were chosen. They had to have on the right garments. The ones without garments, ones without unity in truth, in one accord with the Groom, got tossed!

What makes us worthy? Our obedience! We not talking about works unto salvation. Jesus paid that price. We are talking about works of faith. A lot of people are living in the wilderness because they are not really believing. The blood of Jesus makes us His, but what gets us in the Promised Land? What gets us to bear fruit?

In the Kingdom of God, there is a Promised Land. Well, clearly it said to us that what was done in the wilderness to the Israelites is an example for us. Then we better pay attention.

He called you for eternal life, but how many are really chosen to enter the Promised Land? Moses and all of them were called by God - out of Egypt we call the world- but died in the wilderness, with the Promised Land right there.

So many don’t have the right garments for this wedding. They have the wrong garments. It’s not by works that we attain salvation, but works show we are saved! Faith has works and fruits. Did Jesus say that if you don't have fruit you don't have Him? Religion is bearing counterfeit fruit. It’s impossible to have fruit and no power.

Are you willing? Or are you giving up? Don’t hold onto your old story! If God is not doing it, it is because of you are not doing it. He is no respecter of persons. He calls everyone into the wilderness but to pass through not to live there, not to die there, but to be chastened, changed, tested and tried.

Walking in Truth is a choice. Being submissive to the Holy Spirit is a choice. Allowing God is a choice.

Jesus had everything He needed. When you prepare yourself to die for Him, you have lack of nothing. The Word will provide everything to you. If you abide in the vine, you will produce fruits. If not, you will become poison ivy.

The chosen always abide in the vine. People are trying to do so much without abiding in Him. They are responding to the call but not to the process because there is no fruit. They are separate from Him. They say they know Him, but they hate their brother. They say they love Him, but they are jealous and envious of them that came out of the wilderness. The chosen ones will suffer persecution. Jesus called them UNTO HIMSELF! The field is the World.

They get everybody to the house of God but don’t get the house of God into them! Hundreds of people get so called saved by religion standards but no true conversion because it never ever ever says pray and you will be in eternity. All repented hearts! This why so many branches fall from the vine. Vine is Truth, love, grace. Chosen people tell others about the Truth. They become the enemy of many because they are just like the one who they are following: Christ! - The most rejected and hated man of His time. The level of religion is so much worse now because they have more of Jesus’s words to twist with.

We did not choose Him but HE CHOSE US, and He has ordained us to bear FRUITS, and fruit that remains whether you are being pruned or in a fruitful season because God is the God of multiplication. A few fruit to many fruit, but you better have some, or you chose not to be chosen.

The chosen ones have been with the Holy Spirit. Your spirit always bear witness. Some poison ivy has been in a system of religion but the word is cankered.

God picked a guy named Moses. He was chosen a long time ago before he was born to go into the Promised Land. Moses could not go without the people. So God orchestrated the whole thing. Everyone has a rod in their hands if they have been called and delivered and baptized into Him: the Holy Spirit is the power. If you have been brought out of the World, you do know the power of the Holy Spirit, but some brothers and sisters live in the wilderness because of pride, rebellion and not submitting to the Holy Spirit for change. Read the book of Jude. They have a gift but have gone solo.

God brings us to Christ, and Christ brings us right back to the wilderness where Holy Spirit is waiting. Just like He sent Moses to deliver people, we have the Holy Spirit to bring us into the Promised Land.

Chosen ones fear the Lord. The blood saves you, like chosen people back then when the angel of death passed over them because of the blood of the lamb. It will pass over you if you have the Lamb, but are you entering your promised land? False grace says you don't need to put the blood over your doorpost! If you are a temple, then you are now the house.

Everything is eternal. We are eternal if we are chosen, if we are called, then you better make sure you are chosen. God will not write anything in your heart if you are not where you are supposed to be. Be led by the Spirit, and let the Holy Spirit write them on the tablets of man’s heart. We now have a better covenant, a God who speaks directly to you!

If we are not bearing fruits, we are not obeying God. We are in rebellion. If we are really born again, we can’t be begging! If God feeds the birds, and if you don’t have food to eat, the problem is not God but you! Stop blaming people, places, and things, and submit to God! He is a rewarder, not of people who just tap amen on a poster that says, “if you believe God and if you want a blessing tap amen,” but of those who diligently seek Him. God is no respecter of persons.

Not the mighty, not the noble, not the wise are called, but the weak people are called. This is the people that He wants! These are the people who are called and chosen. Foolish to the World but precious in His sight.

Come to a new beginning. Don’t bring your past - just walk in your future. Walk right into the Promised Land! “Turn the corner,” He said, and you said, “I won’t turn,” and then you missed your Promised Land. Bend to the process and stop blaming Satan to your ex- to your whatever. God delights in seeing us in the glory, in the land of milk and honey! Trust in Him, lean not on your understanding. Be radical.

The Holy Spirit is the glory cloud! Follow the glory and they follow the fire. That is who He is – fire! Allow Him to consume you and you are in the Promised Land!

The chosen ones always go in! There is a remnant that will go into the promise!

None of us have made it yet into eternal Glory! We need to live like we are falling! God will not allow us to drink with someone that does not want to drink the blood or eat his bread (flesh)! The chosen ones do.

Our exchange for Him is all of us. The price is the cross. Any grace gospel without picking up the cross is not the Gospel.

They were all called out of Egypt. They were all chosen? How many died in the wilderness! Don't die in the wilderness, unless God leads you there to cause your flesh to die on the cross. Don't die in the wilderness because you are rebellious. We are now spiritual beings, and the Promised Land is in us. It’s His Spirit; walk in it. Let joy, peace and righteousness take over. The promise is Jesus. He is the penny. He is the peace. The joy, the truth, the master. In Him is the presence and the living water. Drink from the river and receive your land! Shane Roessiger
