Strength Upon You

Samson is like the church and the church is called to deliver God’s people from the Philistines (the World).

God will deliver some people over to the devil so he can save them. The destruction of the flesh is part of God’s plan to rescue His people (1 Corinthians 5). Paul said that. God also put a strong delusion on those who receive not the love of the truth (2 Thessalonians 2:10-11). Delilah represents the fight of the flesh.

Samson was not anointed, but the church is anointed. The Spirit of the Lord is upon her! To deliver, to set the captive free, to preach the Gospel!

Samson had some guides to follow, some DON’Ts. We, now the elect of God, are grafted Nazirites. We don’t drink from the cup of this World. We don’t make alliances with Jezebels, Delilahs, or Baal, or with the daughters of the Philistines (daughters of the World).

Samson should have separated himself, but the lust of the eyes destroyed him. His wants overtook his call. If the church wants what the pastor or members of the church want, not what the Holy Spirit wants, then these will blind you.

We have the power and the strength to do what God called us to do unless we fornicate with the Spirit of the Age. Delilah represents that spirit. When we decide to take Delilah as our wife, we marry the World. We love the World and we grieve the Holy Spirit. Jesus said, "You are in the World but you are not of it."

Samson also is a shadow of the leaders in the church, but many, just as Samson, took Delilah as their wife: the ways of the World, the politics of the World and the lust of the world. When Samson saw her (the World), He desired her/it. Samson began to get really close to her/it. I ask you how close to the World can we get without falling completely into it under its seduction?

Samson loved her/it. The Word says, “If you love the World, the love of the Father is not in you.” Satan’s job is to make everybody love Delilah when God says, “Touch not any unclean thing.” Philistines were that. With us is paganism, is sin, is whatever we desire that God desires us not to.

Delilah enticed him and started looking for the source of his strength so she could destroy the anointing, the supernatural gifts.

The devil will act like, “I am trying to help you,” but he is the master of temptation. Samson did not see her/it as the enemy but as something he wanted. You need to start seeing things the way that God sees or you will never see rightly. When He tells us to do things, it is for our own spiritual protection.

Samson had no business hanging out with her/it because she/it was from the enemy’s camp (the World). He let her/it get close to the source of his strength (his hair). He started playing with her and suddenly he fell in love with her. As in Revelation, many, just as Samson, have left their first love.

Eventually, you give up your strength to the devil. She/it took 7 locks of hair from his head. That is where some of the church is right now. No power, no strength because they turned their strength over. They gave their hearts to their belly. Then the Bible says, "The joy of the Lord is our strength." When we compromise, we lose the essence of Christ and the joy of the Lord. Condemnation creeps in.

Some of you are in hard labor because you have slept with Delilah and handed over your life and destiny to your own desires, not to the will of God. Thank God for the cross and grace. We have time to repent and turn back to Him.

The World is not your friend. We are its enemy. God will give you what you want. If you are in love with the World, you are saying, “Father, bring Delilah to me,” and He may give you what you are asking for. Just as Sampson told his father, "Bring her to me. She pleases me."  Our only desire should be that we ask all that pleases our Father God.

Some out there are preaching a Gospel that allows you to sleep with Delilah. God is putting us in that place where our hair will grow back. A mighty show of power! One last chance. The revival of His bride.  He wants all His bride to be part of the marriage supper of the lamb! God is using men and women like Samson to destroy Delilah’s house.

God has a vision, and it has been written: THE WHOLE BIBLE is the vision! The book of Habakkuk talks about the vision. We must have eyes to see. Prophets and apostles wrote God’s vision: THE WORD! And everything that is written will be accomplished! A total destruction of the flesh and its desire will be done on the cross of Jesus Christ and a bride with only one lover: not Delilah (the World) but Jesus Christ.

There is no way to feel secure when we are sleeping with Delilah/enemy.  The five fold ministry will cause the people to understand the Word of God, to teach them the Word of God, to bring back the fear of the Lord to them.

Samson’s hair was his strength. The joy of the Lord is our strength. When you give yourself to Delilah, the joy of the Lord starts to be taken away from you.

The power of God is training us for joy! It does not matter what happened. Our hair is growing back up! Our joy is coming back! The World is coming out of us! And no, no, temptation shall overtake us.

Delilah will try to take the helmet of salvation and try to cut your hair making you feel that you are not saved any more. Then you can’t preach His word anymore because of condemnation. Then she will remove the truth out of us. But the cross is there! We need to say to ourselves: THIS IS NOT THE WAY! THIS IS NOT THE TRUTH! THIS IS NOT THE LIFE!

It is the joy of the Lord that keeps us, satisfies us. That joy is Him. Whatever is happening with us, don’t give over to Delilah! Let him burn any desire to hang out with it/World. It has nothing for you. Whatever you go through, obey God, keep the unity of the Faith, learn how to die to that thing that eventually cut your hair and caused you to give up. We are not called to be quitters! But overcomers! It does not matter what happened yesterday!

No more of Delilah! No more desire for the World! Strength is coming upon us! Our hair is growing back! There will be a maximum exodus out of Delilah’s camp and into the kingdom of joy, righteousness and truth!!!

Word: Judges 13, Judges 14, Nehemiah 8
